Implants

Implantology

A beautiful smile should be natural-looking and balanced. To create a truly attractive smile, teeth must be proportionally composed to suit a person’s facial features and to shape a harmonious gum structure. That is why the best implants are those, which replace the lost teeth in the most natural manner. They do not cause bone disintegration in the missing teeth area, they do not require any alterations to the adjacent teeth and, last but not least, are very comfortable in use. As a result of replacing the tooth root with an implant, dental arches regain their natural shape, which in turn makes the face look younger and results in our patients smiling more willingly. Implants are an excellent solution in case of a single lost tooth, larger number of missing teeth or in case of complete lack of teeth (anodontia).

What does the implantation process look like?

Implant insertion consists in placing a titanium element in the bone. It replaces the root and enables the dentist to make a restoration of the whole tooth on its base. After full integration with the bone the crown is affixed to it, this is the part which is visible inside the mouth.
Insertion of implant is preceded with detailed analysis of anatomical conditions with the use of digital pantographic and tomographic imaging in order to provide our Patients with maximum safety and guarantee the success of the procedure.

Fast results thanks to technology

Today Patients do not have to wait between 3 and 6 months for the prosthetic restoration until the implant integrates with the bone. In Nawrocki Clinic we use digital techniques allowing us to make a temporary tooth replacement attached to the implant already on the day of the appointment. This is possible thanks to the computer navigation system, which makes it possible to plan the perfect positioning of the implant.

Using the optical scanner the doctor scans the entire oral cavity. The image is then transferred to the computer, which plans the prosthetic restoration, taking into account the size of the implant, bone and anatomical structures surrounding nerves. The data obtained in this way is sent to Belgium, where a surgical guide is printed, whose purpose is to place the implant in the ideal position. Dental technician then designs and makes the prosthetic restoration, based on digital files. In Nawrocki Clinic we have our own laboratory and the system, which lets us make prosthetic works on our own, directly in the Clinic during a single appointment. Patients can enjoy a new smile already on the same day.
